Introduction

Pasang Lhamu Sherpa, born in 2018 BS in Chaurikharka VDC - 4, Surke of Solukhumbu district, is a practical example of courage, determination, fortitude and self-sacrifice. As a result of her untiring attempts, she successfully ascent Mt. Everest (World highest peak) on the 10th of Baishakh, 2050 and became the First Nepalese Woman in mountaineering history. As an honour of her courageous deed, the government of Nepal has declared her as the 15th National Luminary (Rastriya Bibhuti) of Nepal on 9th Baishakh 2059. Pasang Lhamu Sherpa Memorial College (PLSMC), named after the 15th National Luminary of Nepal, has been established in the memory of the brave daughter of Nepal-Pasang Lhamu Sherpa; anticipating that it will enable us to remember and respect her imitative deed and produce dynamic, energetic and qualified human resources that can fulfill the requirements of different sectors in national & International Level. It is said that education should be based on economic, Social, Geopolitical, religious & cultural restructure and development of the nation. Moreover, the quality education must not be out of reach of general people and underprivileged families. Therefore, PLSM College was established in 2056 BS with the vow of catering equal, impartial and quality education with disciplined environment and affordable fee structure to all the students who hail from different parts of the country and abroad.

We believe that every people is a unique individual who needs a secure , caring, and stimulating atmosphere which enable to grow and mature intellectually, physically, and socially. As a being an administrator of Pasang Lhamu Sherpa Memorial College, it is my first aim to help students and teachers to meet their fullest potential in all areas by providing an outmost environment that is safe, supports risk-taking, and invites a sharing of ideas.
As it fact that PLSMC is becoming a well established and recognized educational institute with the name of Snow Daughter of Nepal: National Luminary Pasang Lhamu Sherpa, we moreover is implanting our innovative ideas to refurnish Nepal's educational system which can only way to develop each of the students with high quality and skillful citizen for nation building.
We understand the students are our future so that we commit to teach them well, which ultimately let them lead the way of their living, their society and nation. We try to show them all the beauty they possess inside and give them sense of pride. Equally important to self-discovery is having the opportunity to study things that are meaningful and relevant to student's life and interests. Developing educational activities around student interests fosters intrinsic motivation and stimulates the passion to learn. Our motto is to provide high level of quality education to all the students for developing them as an important personality for the country's development.

College Uniform & ID Card

Students must wear college uniform as prescribed by the college. The College strongly advises to carry the ID card all the Time.

We regularly conduct and organize extra-curricular and co-curricular activities to strengthen skill and knowledge of our students in different sectors and subjects for ensuring them for job opportunities after the college education. Activities are as:
